Gypsy Soule Mexican Flower Cuff Review

Today I want to introduce you to Gypsy Soule, an online boutique dedicated to providing accessories and jewelry that will help you bring out your inner chic cowgirl! I really enjoy browsing their selection of blinged-out boots and flip-flops, and their jewelry is seriously good-looking. You do not have to be a "cowgirl" to appreciate their style, that's for sure!
About Gypsy Soule:

"Products for women, designed by women." All products are created by hand using the best materials possible and adorned with natural and authentic products. Their flip-flops and boots are designed with swarovski crystals and made of high-quality leather.

Review and Thoughts:

Gypsy Soule sent me this gorgeous Mexican Flower Cuff to review!

This etched cuff is so my style - not too girly but totally sophisticated. And it truly makes a fashion statement. I can wear it with pretty much anything and know that it fits in with and improves an outfit, which is very nice (and rare, for me). There's something about placing it on your wrist that makes you feel that you've completed your look and you're ready. I don't know if that makes sense to you or not. I think it's the fact that I feel pretty in it. Do you have a piece of jewelry that gives you an extra boost of confidence? It may sound strange, but it's true. ;-)

Though it looks wide and possibly uncomfortable to wear, it isn't! And I'm a picky person, so that's saying something. I think it's the perfect accessory.

Buy it!

The Mexican Flower Cuff retails for $58.00 at Gypsy Soule. Be sure to check out their other jewelry, too!

Funky + Modern Accessories =Twisted Silver!

Twisted Silver is a place where beautiful modern and funky jewelry abounds. Those (like me) who want an assortment of different styles of accessories to match any outfit, dressed up or down, will find themselves happily overwhelmed by the selection Twisted Silver has to offer!

Cool Fact: Celebrities looove Twisted Silver!

Hip and modern necklaces as well as fashionable belts, charms, and earrings can be found at Twisted Silver...

But my favorite section is the wrist-wear! I absolutely cannot stay away from their bracelets!

Aren't they gorgeous? And there are so many more that I'm sure you will love!

My Thoughts: Twisted Silver sent me their lovely Uptown Bracelet (above) to review. This piece is truly beautiful, and even more so in person. Even their exceptional photography doesn't capture the true charm of the bracelet itself. It is classy and contemporary chic at the same time - you can wear it with anything! Another thing I really like about it is that it's easily adjustable with a clasp and chain closure. No more ill-fitting bracelets!

I'm very pleased with my experiences with Twisted Silver's products and the people I worked with, and I would buy from them in the future without hesitation!

Buy it: You can purchase the Uptown Bracelet for $40.00 at Twisted Silver. Don't forget to sign up for email updates sent out every Tuesday here!

Visit the Twisted Silver Website
Follow Twisted Silver on Twitter (@twistedrocks)
Fan Twisted Silver on Facebook

Also check out the Outlet Store (some pieces of jewelry as low at $7.00!) and keep an eye on their weekly hot deals! You never know what you'll find!

Disclaimer: The review item was sent to me free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

{Holiday Gift Giveaway #14} Sanita Clogs: Fashionable and Comfortable!

I had the craziest thing happen to me. My best friend, a CNA on her feet all day long, told me about these "magical shoes" she discovered. Her feet had been hurting for a long time, even in the best sneakers she could find.

One day someone told her about Sanita clogs, and she was desperate enough to give them a try even though they seemed pretty pricey at $100. She ended up being very impressed with them and pleased because her feet had stopped hurting since she had started wearing them. She even loved them so much that she bought a second pair! I was intrigued and absolutely loved the look of them so I was thinking about buying a pair eventually.

About a week later, I was given the opportunity to review a pair of clogs for Sanita, and I couldn't believe my luck! The exact same brand, exact same shoe that my friend had! To me, that meant that I could share my discoveries with you all much sooner than I had anticipated.

So let's find out a little bit about Sanita:

"At Sanita, we’ve been making cozy, comfortable clogs the Danish way since 1907. In fact, we were the first to make them. Our founder, Christen Andersen, not only created the first pair by hand, he also created our first distribution system: the basket of his bicycle."

Cool Fact: They could outsource their work, but they DON'T! Quality craftsmanship is not sacrificed to make it cheaper, so we pay a little more for that quality and comfort. The clogs are made in Europe. Find out more about the process of creating these shoes by watching this fascinating video on it at the Sanita website!

Sanita Clogs has an excellent selection with many styles, colors, and materials, and they carry clogs for men and kids as well as women! Check them out, I'm sure you'll find something you love!

My Thoughts:

Sanita clogs will kind of mold to your foot over time, but they are a little bit stiff at first, so I recommend not jumping into them and wearing them the entire day when you first receive them - especially if you have to do a lot of walking. I did that and it was a mistake, lol. I had a sore toe (just in one place), and was kind of discouraged, but then a couple of days later I went back and wore them again and they felt better. Now I can wear them anytime and I absolutely love the way they feel. And the way they look! I feel totally classy in these clogs - they go really well with jeans or slacks and make you feel like a million bucks. Plus they give you some height, which I really like - it gives me a confidence boost.

So I received the Original Professional Cabrio Clogs from Sanita Clogs to review:

I prefer the clogs with backs just because I'm the klutzy type of person who will surely end up kicking my clog halfway across the room on a slippery floor and embarrass myself to death... I haven't done this as an adult and I don't plan on it. ;-)

I find these shoes to be super comfortable (after the first wear as stated above). The inside is so well-made and cushy, and they are really easy to walk in. The Original line has a "specially designed sole that creates a subtle rocking motion that actually propels you forward." It's true! These really are the most comfortable clogs I've ever worn.

Here is a chart showing you why these shoes are so special - I love knowing all the details before buying, don't you?

There are rave reviews on Sanita clogs across the web and I've heard that many podiatrists say you can't get much better than Sanita (though I wouldn't want you to quote me on that - I'd recommend asking yours first). My feet didn't really hurt before I tried Sanita so I can't guarantee it will help your aching feet, but my trusted friend did say these clogs helped her. I would recommend asking around, maybe going to a store that carries Sanita clogs and try some on for yourself, maybe ask some of the customers you see there, etc.

I should mention that if you do buy a pair, pay attention to the sizing recommendation. According to the Sanita website, "Sanita clogs fit differently than traditional shoes. They should feel roomy not constrained. There should be a 1/4 inch (pinky finger's width) gap between the heel of your foot and the back of the clog. Your heel should lift in the back of the shoe." That sounds different, but amazingly enough they are very comfortable this way!

Care: Sanita says you only need a soft, dry cloth to buff away the scuff marks on the Cabrio leather, and I was amazed at how well it looked after following their advice! The leather is gorgeous, and now I'm even more impressed with these clogs.

What I LOVE: The style, the leather exterior, Sanita's selection of shoe shades (black, brown, bordeaux for the Original Professional), the way the shoe fits the contour of my foot, how easy they are to walk in.

What I don't like: I'm having to think very hard about this and can't come up with anything! I really like these shoes. :-)

Conclusion: I love my Sanita clogs and would definitely recommend them! I think they're worth their price of $100, and I'm planning on buying another pair at some point in the future. I would like to go to a store that sells Sanita clogs and see them all at once this time, though, rather than buying online. I'm sold on Sanita!

{Holiday Gift Giveaway #1} Pearl Paradise Akoya Pearl Necklace Giveaway

I've never really been a pearl girl. I tend to think of old ladies with their strands of rather large, rather fake-looking pearl necklaces, or 50's housewives. Now, thanks to Pearl Paradise, I know how ignorant I was! Now I think of exotic places, the magical find (in a mussel or oyster), and I know that pearls can be made into some of the most beautiful, fashionable pieces of jewelry in the world!

At Pearl Paradise, you'll find many different styles of pearl pendants, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, and matching sets! It's one of the best places to shop online, and there's something for everyone in all price ranges.

You can also learn a lot at Pearl Paradise, too. Did you know there are many different types of pearls? The pearls in the gorgeous bracelet above are Tahitian Pearls, very beautiful and rare.

I love that there are so many different and unique shapes and colors, too. Ooh, check out this golden pearl:

PearlParadise.com even has an amazing educational section that covers pearl quality, grading, types, history, and care. This really impresses me. They are serious about what they do and want their customers to be informed and happy with their purchases!

I fell in love with this Baroque Tahitian Pearl Pendant on a Silk Cord the moment I saw it!

Isn't it lovely? I think having the pearl as the focal point is wonderful - it makes me feel as if this pearl is extra special. I imagine it being priceless and fought over by pirates...

Yes, I have quite an imagination. ;-) But it adds to the fun of finding and wearing a gorgeous piece of jewelry, doesn't it?

My pendant arrived in a lovely black gift case. Included in the package was an envelope with information on how to care for the pearls and clean them. They even included two pearl tissues and a microfiber pearl cloth to clean them with! I also received an appraisal certificate - my pendant (notice I keep saying "my pendant"? I'm enjoying saying that...) was appraised at $600.00! It's available at Pearl Paradise for $120.00. Find out how they can afford to sell their pearls at such inexpensive prices here.

I found my pearl necklace to be just as beautiful as shown in the photo above and I'm very happy with my experience! I like jewelry that is simple yet elegant, so this fits me perfectly. I would recommend PearlParadise.com without hesitation, and think that husbands and boyfriends would do well to heed my advice and head over to Pearl Paradise immediately!

I have a few great Pearl Paradise discount coupon codes for you that were included in my package!

Use the code 2009-15 to get $15 off a purchase of $75 or more.
Use the code 2009-40 to get $40 off a purchase of $500 or more.
