Fancy Fortune Cookies Review and Giveaway

Ready to talk fortune cookies?

I can just see your expression now - "Fortune cookies? Are you kidding?"

Nope. Because you know what? Thanks to Fancy Fortune Cookies, I have seen what a fortune cookie should be. It should be more than a plain old crunchy treat - one that I can usually forgo. I've always been the type to break open the cookie, read my fortune, and leave the rest to languish uneaten. If it's lucky, it is eaten by my husband. But me? I don't care much for fortune cookies.

At least that was my sentiment until I heard that there are chocolate-covered fortune cookies. I'm a huge HUGE chocolate fan and am always open to trying new desserts, so when Fancy Fortune Cookies contacted me about trying their cookies and sharing my thoughts with my readers, I thought "Why not?". And here we are. ;-)

I received a box of lovely, bright-colored fortune cookies in the mail. It immediately was ripped open by my husband and my one-year-old daughter. My husband tried each flavor and pronounced them a definite success. My daughter pranced around with the individually-wrapped cookies, ooh-ing over the pretty colors and handing them to my husband so he could open the packages and share a bite of cookie with her. Judging from her expressions and the fact that she did not get bored of the "tasting game", I'd say she thought them a success as well. :-) I tried each flavor (I had to get in there fast before my husband ate them all) and found that my favorite is Cool Cappuccino - no contest! There are some great flavors, though - many that would be a hit with kids like cherry and blueberry.

The coolest thing about Fancy Fortune Cookies is that you can personalize each fortune! So much potential for fun and surprise. You could propose to someone with a custom fortune cookie, or share the fact that you're pregnant as a surprise. Some other ideas include:
  • Wedding favors
  • Mother's Day
  • Father's Day
  • Anniversaries
  • Birthdays
  • Baby Showers
  • Birth Announcements
You could have a lot of fun with these. :-)

And check out their yummy-looking Giant Fortune Cookies!

I think it would be a fun way to announce a pregnancy. I won't need that for a year or two though.

I would probably just go with a love note to my hubby for now.
