When I first discovered the Name Your Tune website, I was immediately intrigued. First of all, I think personalized kids' products rock! Second? I remember listening to childrens' songs over and over as a little girl. I didn't get tired of them! Thanks to Name Your Tune, I was able to review a CD specially personalized for my daughter, Emma. The process of making the CD personalized was easy:1. I told them how to pronounce my daughter's name.
2. I told them what I wanted printed on the label - I chose the top line ("Songs for our little girl"), then the next line is the child's name (Emma), and the last line ("Love, Mommy and Daddy").
The first time I played this CD for my daughter, I knew it was worth buying. Before I put it on, she was whiny, restless, and wouldn't sit in my lap, but was not happy being put down, either. Don't you love it when that happens? Well, the minute she heard this CD, and especially her name, she calmed right down and was completely entranced. She sat in front of the CD player and watched it, lol. She loves music, and I know that she loved hearing her name sung as well. Our favorite song is "Wheels on the Bus" because while singing they tell you what motions to go through.
Emma loves this CD because it's a combination of her favorite things: music, hearing her name, and interactive songs!
