My Thoughts/Review:
Thanks to Anytime Costumes, I received the Infant Monkey Costume for my daughter to review.
I am SO impressed with the quality! The entire costume is made of a super soft fur, and it comes with a separate hat with monkey ears and two slippers (monkey feet). Everything fit very well and my daughter looks adorable in it. Which is, of course, the point. ;-)
A feature that I really like is that it has snap closure on the inside of the legs, making diaper changing fast and easy.
At $34.99 (on sale right now for $24.99), I think this is a great buy! It surpassed my expectations when it comes to quality and comfort.

I would get the Jack Sparrow costume. My son's name is Jack and we've been dressing him up as different things with Jack in it. His first halloween he was a Jack-o-Lantern, then he was Jack and the Beanstalk and this year he's going to be a Lumberjack. He could be Jack Sparrow when he's a little bigger since the costume is a child size.

I'd pick the Buzz Lightyear costume for my son - he just discovered the movie and he's totally into it. He's actually a size 6.... but I would probably buy up a size, since he's at the top end of the small size, and get the medium instead. We usually have to wear layers underneath costumes here anyway! (New England can be cold for Halloween!)
Oh, and I'd probably order the wings and gloves on my own as well. He LOVES the wings!
Ok, actually I commented on your Oct 2 On the Road with a Toddler part 2 post... which isn't actually september, but part 1 was! Should I go comment there too? ;-) Whatever - the chances of this comment winning are minimal anyway, so I won't clog things up. I tried to give you some carsickness tips though - and although I didn't say it specifically - I'm afraid you may have to ditch the books! I know they love em, but my kids both starting throwing up while looking at books in the car by the age of 1, and I had to reserve actual books for when we weren't moving! (it's a pity, since coloring and such would also be great - but no!)
