We have way too many remotes.

My 15-month-old daughter wouldn't think so - she LOVES to find one or more and carry them around with a mischievous grin on her face. She stops and pushes a few buttons. She points it at the screen with glee. We call her back desperately, or chase her around the living room. We know that if she gets the chance, she'll hide them and we'll be wasting time again searching for our remotes.

The problem isn't really my daughter (though hopefully someday she'll understand what "no" means, lol), but the fact that we have too many remotes! One for the television, one for the DVD player, one for the blue-ray player, one for the sound system, another one for the cable box, two for the Wii, one for the Playstation 3 - it's crazy! We finally did buy a universal remote but were disappointed to discover that we can only assign two systems to that. Still too many.

How many remotes do you have?

Imagine only having to use one remote control for everything. I know I could keep one remote safe from my daughter. It's the fact that I have so many to keep track of that makes it hard.
