So an update on my life.
First of all, two weeks ago I found out I had mononucleosis. UGH! I was a little hesitant to share this because I didn't want you guys to think I was out kissing random guys or something, LOL.
It isn't so! Let me tell you, the only man I've ever kissed is my husband and I want to keep it that way! :-) Anyway, for those of you who don't know it, Mononucleosis (also called the "kissing disease", go figure) is a common viral illness that makes you feel tired and weak for weeks (I also had a sore throat for about two weeks), sometimes months. It's pretty contagious when you're actually sick. Could this have come at a WORSE TIME or what? Here I'm trying to do the 30-day challenge and I have mono! Not fair! I've gone back endlessly in my mind, trying to figure out how I got it. I don't even drink after anyone but my close family so it's just really strange I ended up with it. It could have been someone kissing my daughter and then me kissing my daughter, too (GROSS), I guess. *sigh*
Here's a random question for you: Do/Did you let people kiss your baby? LOL I don't usually "let" people, it just happens so fast there's no point in saying anything... though there are a few select people I don't mind if they give her a quick smack on the head. Okay, I think it's time I made a line of shirts that say, "Germophobic" (one for me and my daughter) and "Don't kiss my baby". LOL
Besides the fact that I'm a walking disease (oh, and I think I gave it to my husband, poor guy!), there's not really much going on. Actually because I've got this, I've been too tired to do anything fun these last two weeks. The positive side? I've had more time to read. :-) I'm reading Veiled Freedom by Jeanette Windle, and this book is awesome. A great pace and keeping my interest despite all the toddler-shaped interruptions and distractions.Well, time to get at today's EA Sports Active Challenge! :-) I've pushed myself to keep up with it, but I'm going at low intensity and skipping some of the repetitive exercises. Still, I've totally felt the burn in my arms, shoulders, legs, and even up and down the sides of my body, it's so weird! But a good sign, right? :-)

Thank you sooo much for sharing this post! :-)

I think those t-shirts would sell like hotcakes. I wish I'd had them when you were little. Some people just don't have common sense. So, you have to be bold and speak up if you don't want someone to kiss them. You are the protector of your baby and shouldn't feel like you're being mean when you protect them. Be bold, young women! Our culture makes us feel like we have to just let things happen, that we have no rights. You be the pilot of your ship. God entrusted it to you.
Wow! I hope you and hubby feel better soon. What a drag to go through that. And way to go on keeping up with the challenge! I can tell you I'd just be on the couch reading 24/7.
I found your blog through CWO Blogroll! You really have a positive attitude for being so sick!!! I hope you feel better!
So bummed you have mono! But the t-shirt idea is awesome! lol
Oh man! I hope you get better soon!
I so know what you mean about being just a review blog! My own didn't start out that way, and I just ended up with too much on my plate. I'm slowly clearing it off and getting back to me!
You have a great blog!

Haha...that is pretty funny that you can see the positive in all of this, that you get to read more. I don't think I would like to get sick but I would like to get in more reading time!
Sometimes the timing of things isn't perfect but keep going with your 30 day challenge...I'll bet you have a lot of people rooting for you!
Feel better :-)

Wow I thought I had commented on this already, I'm glad I checked.
I'm sorry you sick and hope you feel 100% soon.
I can't believe you had the energy to keep working out. You are my hero.
