FuzziBunz Cloth Diapers for Baby ♥ GIVEAWAY!

♥ Giveaway Closed

What comes to mind when you think about cloth diapers? Here's what I used to think:

Huge squares of white cotton (and why are they always white?) folded and pinned to baby's (temporarily) clean little rear. You follow along in baby's wake, hoping hoping that nothing leaks through. In about 20 minutes you have to change the diaper again, emptying noxious substances into the toilet and trying not to pass out (dramatic, aren't I?). Diaper pail fills with dirty diapers and you keep putting off washing them in the hopes that your husband will empty it (yeah RIGHT)...

Whew, wake me from that nightmare! FuzziBunz definitely changed my perspective. Gone are the days of cloth diaper hassle! If you want to save money and make things more comfortable for your baby, FuzziBunz are for you! You might still have to deal with the diaper pail, but it's worth it. :-) And no, your husband probably won't deal with it for you. But if he does, he's an angel!

About FuzziBunz ♥
Necessity is the mother of all invention. Necessity is what led Tereson Thomas, founder and CEO of Mother of Eden, to invent the FuzziBunz™ pocket diapering system. Tereson invented FuzziBunz™ pocket diapers in 1999 in response to her four-month old son, Eden’s, chronic diaper rash. The disposable diapers contained chemicals that inflamed her son’s diaper rash. The cloth diapers on the market were clunky, old-fashioned, hard to clean and did not keep her son dry and rash free. She faced the challenge of inventing a product that would keep her baby dry, be easy to clean and care for, prevent leaks as good as or better than disposables, and still be more economical than disposables and other cloth diaper options. She was looking for a real diapering option to fit her modern lifestyle.

After an exhaustive search, Tereson developed her own diapering system by hand-stitching diapers in her home. The diapers she invented worked and she decided to share her unique invention with mothers around the world who were also disenchanted with the available diapering options. Within one year, Mother of Eden and the FuzziBunz™ diaper empire were born.

Mother of Eden first introduced the new fleece pocket diaper product to a community of mothers on the Internet who were already using cloth diapers. One customer turned into two, two into four and the customer base continued to multiply from that point on. On June 17, 2003, Tereson was officially and legally granted a patent for her product.

FuzziBunz™ diapers can be purchased through small work-at-home-mom Internet boutiques listed at www.fuzzibunz.com. They also will be available in specialty retail stores later this year.

Product Details

♥ The waterproof outer barrier keeps wetness contained.
♥ The soft microfleece inner layer gently touches your baby’s skin, pulling away moisture and keeping your baby rash-free, dry, and comfortable. The microfleece is made of 100% Polyester and is custom-milled.

♥ The unique, patented pocket-style opening enables you to customize the absorbency to fit your baby needs. Stuff the pocket with inserts, a pre-fold, or even a hand towel!

♥ The elastic is encased inside the diaper so it won’t rub against your baby’s tender skin. The stitching around the elastic creates “mini-gussets” to keep messes contained.

♥ The adjustable snap settings grow with your baby and enable you to adjust for your baby’s waist and leg sizes.
♥ The variety of sizes – including preemie, small, medium, large, petite toddler, and extra-large – ensure that FuzziBunz™ properly fit your baby.

Two Kinds of Diapers: One-Size and Perfect Size

FuzziBunz offers both Pefect Sized and Birth to Potty diapers to consumers. Each have their pros and cons. We believe in "truth in advertising". If a trim fitting diaper is important to you than the "perfect sized" diapers may be suited best for you - most babies only use 2 sizes of diapers (small and medium). If a diaper that will last from birth to potty, and will stand up to three years of use and possibly more is what you value....and you are willing to sacrifice some trimness for this - then the "One Size" may be your diaper of choice. Our company supports your choices and will offer superior product support and warranty whichever you choose.

I just bought 6 of the perfect size to try out! I got perfect size because I'm on my third (and last??) little girl and I don't think I'll have anyone to pass them down to. If you are planning on more kiddies...than perfect size might be a great idea. :)

I have a 3 month old who my whole world. I have been pretty lucky and only had one blow out so far. Well the other day I realized she hadn't pooped in a couple of days when I took her in to change her wet diaper. As I start to unsnap her outfit I hear the unmistakable sound of a big poop. I give her a second to finish and when I thought she was done I proceed with her diaper change. Oh man it was all the way down her legs. Blow out #2. Yuck. As I was cleaning her legs she pooed more. I was glad I hadn't already taken her dirty outfit out from under her, but man I learned a lesson. Always leave a diaper under their butts. :)

Definitely the one size. I love that they will fit her as she grows and since it is centered around an elastic (and not button) system I am sure they would be comfy.

I think the one size diapers are brilliant. I like all the solids - especially aqua.

I would try the one size kind, great design

I'd like to try the one size in the daisy print. One size because we are adopting and unsure of baby's exact size - daisy b/c its too cute!

Monique said...

I absolutely loved Fuzzi Bunz when my daughter was a newborn. They were the perfect nighttime diapers and they are so soft and comfy for the baby. I cloth diapered my daughter from birth through potty training and now I have just two days ago given my beloved diapers to a friend who is having a baby. I only had medium and large diapers left because I sold all of the smalls to buy the bigger diapers. I'd love to win these Fuzzi Bunz to give her some small diapers. I'd choose the Perfect Size diapers in a size small. Thanks for the chance!

I would def. try a one size Daisy print. A one size b/c it would be more economical, and daisy print b/c it's super cute!

Steph B said...

I would choose perfect fit over one-size because the perfect fit diapers are trimmer and they have a hip snap option. The hip snap really helps to eliminate leaks around the legs.

Steph B said...

Diaper Experience:
I decided it was time to switch to cloth diapers for a number of reasons. 1. I noticed that my baby's disposable diaper smelled really strongly when he woke up in the morning, but his cloth diaper didn't smell at all. 2. I got tired of spending $50 every month for diapers. 3. I got tired of throwing out bags of diapers every week that would just sit in the land fill. And, 4. Disposable diapers were not holding in my baby's BF poo... Inevitably it would seep out the sides and all the way up his back so we would have to give him a bath and change his clothes several times a day. Annoying!!!

Most parents can claim their child has had a diaper blowout and they were holding them at the time. I have one better. When my daughter was about 2 months old, I went to change her. i had her lying down and her rear up while I was wiping her clean.

Then she passed gas. Only it wasn't only gas. She also managed to pee at the same time and it was a fountain. Daddy was sitting across the room and erupted in laughter. Things you don't expect when you have a girl child. Needless to say, I took a shower that day.

A diaper experience.... Well, the other night I was on my way to take the garbage out when my husband calls me in a very panicked voice. I come and my daughter has blown out her diaper and it is all up her back. Hubby looks at me and says what do I do? So, I had to take the baby and she was pretty covered so I put her in the sink while Hubby stood there looking helpless. :)

Dee said...

Oh I want these soo bad! I would go with one size so I could put them on my toddler OR this baby on the way! And I dont have to keep buying sizes! It can be expensive enought to start as well!

THANKS SOOO much for the chance!

Hey Linds, if there was any giveaway that I was desperate to win. It would be this one.

I would choose the perfect size, because they just seem that they would last and work for so much longer in the time the baby needs the diapers.

My sister uses cloth diapers on her kids. She has a combination of a couple different types. I know she does have a few FuzziBunz too. Whenever she has a babe, I usually go up and stay a week or two to help the transition with the others. (She's preggo with number five!)

At first the thought of cloth diapers was terrifying. Now that I am planning my own baby's diaper wardrobe having the experience that I do with cloth diapers from my sister's kids I cannot imagine going any other way!

I think I'd prefer the one-size in Bubblegum because I think I'd get more use out of the one size. We have (and love) Fuzzi Bunz in medium, but now we're stuck with nothing for our newborn. If the one sizes had been available back in the day, we'd have cloth diapers to put the baby in now.

My diaper story...I'm sure every baby has pooped through their diaper. Well, my son hadn't pooped in a few days. We were traveling through Chicago and had to make a stop. It went all up his back in the car seat, almost to his neck. I had to change him in the back seat at the rest stop.

Diaper story... Just this past Sunday my son peed (fortunately, just pee) ALL over me, himself, and our church floor! I had put him in a disposable and he leaked through his clothes, so when I was changing him, he peed everywhere again! He's one week shy of a year, so hasn't done that for months and months! I didn't have any wipes or more clothes inside, just my bumGenius to go on his tush! Crazy moments...

Diaper experience: We were at the store and my son had a blowout up his back. It got on his pants and his shirt. He had a jacket, but no extra pants. I wouldn't have worried too much if it wasnt' raining outside and cold. I had just bought a pair of pj pants for my hubby, so I put those on my son. They were about 8 times too big, but at least they kept him from being naked and cold!

Baby diaper experience: I have been changing diapers since I was 7 so pretty much nothing there disgusts me... my DH and my FIL not so much. We were watching my niece and nephew one day when within 5 minutes the each had a blow out (both wear disposables). All over Gramps and my DH. Lets just say I held the babies after that :-)

Thank you for hosting this wonderful giveaway!

My husband and I have been debating the use of disposable - vs - cloth - vs- a diaper service for a while now, since his side of the family is allergic to just about everything under the sun.

We have until May to get ready for our first bundle, so finding out about FUZZIBUNZ now is wonderful.

I'd take the ONE SIZE diaper.

Honelty, I'm not a fan of washing bulky "used" cloths or keeping a bag hanging around for a service to show up. This product might get us on the same page when it comes to the dreaded DIAPER issue.

I do not have a cloth diaper story. My DH was laid off and I am trying to cut back expenses. Diapers are a huge $$ drain and my two year old son has special needs. I am trying to win cloth diapers so I do not have to buy disposables anymore and won't have to worry about if he has diapers to wear or not. Fingers crossed.

I'd go for the one-size because I have a 15 month old and 1 month old in diapers. :)

I finally convinced my hubby to go with cloth diapers. I tried REALLY hard when I was pregnant last time and he wouldn't budge. But for some reason he likes the idea now. I've been looking into FuzziBunz as one option. I'm still undecided about the one size versus perfect size. I guess I'd go with one size for now, and see how that worked.

I would like to try the one size on my grand daughter. I think these could be used for the next child too.

I used cloth diapers on my children. Once when I was babysitting for a nephew, his Mother did not leave enough disposable diapers for him. I used one of my cloth diapers with plastic pants. He had loose stools and it ran out of the diaper onto the floor! What a mess! These look a little more secure!

I would definally go with a one size because I havent tried those yet. I have quite a few perfect sizes already. Plus I have 2 in diapers and having one size diapers helps alot :D

Id love to try the one size, I own quite a few perfect size fuzzibunz already and am iching to try the one size, Plus I have 2 in diapers so one size diapers make it cheaper and easier.

I love the perfect size diapers. I haven't actually tried the one-size diaper, so maybe I would do that.

I'd choose the perfect size ones. The diapers I have are pretty bulky, and hard to fit under clothes. It would be cool to have some trimmer diapers.

I would try the One Size, in Lavender.

I am expecting my suprise fourth child in October. I have already done my damage to the earth using disposables with my other three. I would love to win the one size because I don't know how big this baby will be!

Thinking about moving to cloth as my DD is only pooping every 2- 3 dys noe (4th months) Think I'd go for the Perfect fit diaper - like the idea of them being snug!

I'd love the one size diapers! We need to make the switch and I've been dithering for a little while, and my kids grow fast, so I think I could better justify a diaper that grows with them.

I would choose perfect fit, it's already adjustable and we are using this for Potty Training as we used 100% biodegradable diapers for infancy. I would like to try the green daisy pattern for sure and maybe a few solids.

I would definitely choose the perfect fit as I like the idea of them being snug on baby to help prevent leaks and messes.

I would pick the Perfect Size Diaper. It seems like it would fit better and be less likely to leak.

I am due in June and really want to clothe diaper. There is so many choices it is overwhelming! I really like the one size so they can grow with the baby.
