Emma ♥ Six Months Old Today

Today Emma is six months old. Can you believe it?

Half a year already! It's been quite a ride so far and I've loved every minute of it!

Okay well, maybe not every minute...

but in general I've loved it all. :-)

I, who didn't think I was really a "baby person" (baby person = someone who gravitates naturally toward babies and children and has babies and children gravitate naturally toward them), absolutely LOVE being a mommy!

I'm sure some of you are saying, "Give it a few years..."

Well, loving Emma as a little person is part of why I love being her mommy.

I'll weather the storm, I know.

We'll make it through the teething, the terrible twos, the potty training... we'll just start with that.

That's enough, isn't it? I'm not ready to think about teenage years. ;-)

Here are some pictures of Emma "helping"

"helping" John play the guitar

Helping him by eating the guitar? Who taught her that!?

"helping" me crochet

Yuuuummy

Oh my gosh, that pouty crying face is so cute! But I do understand how it can be frustrating ;) Happy six months!

she is beautiful!! And 6 months is a really fun age! I notice you didn't say anything about the age of 3! HA HA HA! 2 is a cake walk ( at least to me) compared to the 3's

Happy 6 months baby Emma!

What a gorgeous baby!!

I agree that the 3s are worse. But you get through them. My daughter is 8 now, and time just flies by. My sister had her first child a month ago, and the one piece of advice I had for her is to enjoy every moment because it goes by so fast.

Everyday is still a blessing...even on the rough ones. My boys are 13 and 7 and I still LOVE being a mommy. :-D

Thanks for sharing the pics. Took me back a few years. SIGH. But I really love where my boys are at now too. I am still trying to get over the fact that my 13 year old has larger feet than I do. I can flop around in his sandals now. Hee hee.
